NCAE

Thanks to the North Carolina Association of Educators for including me in their endorsement!

“After a thorough round of interviews and review of the candidates’ written questionnaires, the Guilford County Association of Educators recommendations for public office reflect our belief that it’s not enough for elected officials to say they support public schools, they must take action supporting public schools. From the Board of Commissioners to the state Legislature, every one of the candidates we endorse has taken meaningful action to ensure our public schools are adequately funded and staffed. The crisis of COVID-19 has laid bare racial inequities that are all too often reinforced by underfunding of public schools. For the sake of our students and staff, it is vital that we call out the bad actors and work to elect people that truly represent us and our students.”
